Xugar Nails F&J

I had a pretty good experience and the nails came out cute. I got white french tip nails (gel) for $45 so not too expensive either.

Been a long time client of Xugar (since highschool) but I’ve seen a sharp decline in their service. Today, I went in for a gel mani pedi and had the worst time. The lady doing my nails was incredibly rude- I don’t think she spoke to me once. As she was doing my toes, I was in so much pain. She was being incredibly rough and the service felt low end. As for the manicure, she cut my cuticle TWICE. She was so worried about texting back her boy toy that she would stop painting my nails to text back. Incredibly unprofessional. This happened more than just once! As she finished wiping off my nails with some alcohol, she left the alcohol pad on my hands, said “ya termine”, and then immediately picked up her phone to keep texting. Paula is the bestt!! She did so good with my pedicure so very beautifully skilled woman! I feel clean fresh and beautiful. And the price was so good too!!

I came here for dip powder on nails. In less than 24 hours my nails started chipping. The whole time the nail technician was trying to sell me different things to add on. Telling me I need acrylic. Telling me I need gel top coat. By the third day FIVE of my nails were chipped. Should’ve listened to reviews. Their powder technique is terrible. Charged me $50 and I gave $10 tip for this terrible outcome. Save your money.

This has got to be the worst salon Ive gone to. My nails were hideous, it was expensive for the type of service I received and I wasted so much time here. I arrived to this place at 2:30pm and left almost at 5:00pm, when I arrived, I was sat down right away and the girl worked on me immediately. I believe she was either new or had no idea what she was doing, she worked on my nails for over 2 hours and they came out super thick and wide. I didnt even complain because I didn't want to make her feel bad and neither did I want to spend an extra hour there getting my nails "fixed". I usually go to astoria and spend $90-100 without including the tip where my nails last a full month before they start looking rough! I literally went to this place because it was more convenient, closer to work/home
