YARA - West Village

One of the most gorgeous manicures I’ve ever had! Neiliane absolutely nailed it and had so much attention to detail, beautiful job! Also really loved the vibe of the salon, welcoming and calm. Will definitely be back!

I came for a manicure and pedicure. While the decor is nice the service was not. The front desk made a fuss about me having gel on my nails prior rolling her eyes as soon as I walked in. She then proceeded to cut my nails to the point of bleeding. The environment definitely had a racist undertone in their preferential treatment. On top of that the manicures are bumpy (pictures below). I would not recommend this place. There is a much better salon literally 2 doors down.

I got a hair cut and blow out and it was such an amazing experience. Very warm environment and the stylist did an amazing job and was very detailed. Would recommend to anyone looking for a salon in west village.

Came here on a whim to get a blowout for my birthday before going to dinner. After poor experiences with other salons I came in with low expectations but was absolutely BLOWN AWAY. I have extremely fine and straight hair and have never had more volume in my life!!! I believe the guy who did my hair was named Gabriel. He was incredibly attentive to details and really took the time to make sure my hair looked perfect. I wish I could get my hair styled here everyday!!

I was hesitant to write this review at first because I have never wanted to gate-keep a place so bad, but they absolutely deserve the 5-stars. I work in the industry and YARA really knows the meaning of great hospitality. The location itself is beautiful and relaxing from the wonderful girls at the front desk (Hi B! 💖) to the music they play. They really make you feel welcome, offer beverages, and show genuine interest in your experience. I’ve had the BEST manicure of my life here. I cannot recommend the 🇺🇦 E-file Mani 🇺🇦enough (formerly the Russian Manicure). I also had the hard gel extension done and the joy that looking at my hands brings me is unreal.
