I have a 3YO who is on the spectrum and scheduled with a hairstylist who profiles on the website that has experience with haircutting children on the spectrum, but that person didn't work out at all and was not listeing to what works. Luckily, we had Christine (30 years) of experience take over. And thank god she did! She saw that he was anxious and needed sensory. I expressed slow combing and slow hair cutting will not work on him. She was an active listener and did it swiftly but the hair cut was superb! Christine is the go to person 1000%!!! Thank you Christine for taking over and doing a great job with our little boy

Great and place for curly hair kids cuts! My toddlers hair was cut to perfection- curls were trimmed while keeping their structure and a little more care was taken by the ears and forehead to keep hair out of eyes + ears. Could not be happier with how it turned out! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and lots of toys and books to keep distracted and lots of treats for after. Will be coming back!

Cannot say enough good things about Yellow Submarine. The shop is designed so cute, and the staff are so welcome and accommodating. I took my younger daughter for her very first “real” haircut- they cut, washed, and styled her, and she truly felt like a princess. My older daughter loved her sister’s haircut so much I had to make her an appointment of her own the next week. Again another fabulous experience. Our family will definitely be back soon.

Yellow Submarine is an absolute gem! You can tell how much care and creativity went into creating this salon. The space is beautiful, cheerful, and calming — perfectly designed to make kids feel comfortable. Everyone who works here is kind, patient, and wonderful with children. They give fantastic haircuts and make it fun and stress-free. The salon also has its own great product line of shampoo and conditioner and even sells the best hair brush ever. I highly recommend this kids hair salon!

I brought my son for his first haircut and it was a wonderful experience. Donna was so lovely and incredibly patient with him! Highly recommend. All of the staff were very friendly as well!
