Yk African Hair Braiding

When I contacted YK braiding, she was quick to respond. I received an appointment promptly and secured my appointment by sending a deposit. I sent her pictures of the size braids I wanted. We confirmed the size (which was small)and cost. Everything went smoothly. When I arrived to the appointment, I was initially concerned that it was at an apartment and not a professional shop. However, she was nice and welcoming and the apartment was clean. She finished my hair in less than 3 hours (I should’ve known something was wrong then because it should’ve taken longer). When she gave me the mirror to look at my hair, I was so disappointed. It was not the size that I wanted. She argued with me and said the picture I showed her makes the braid size look smaller but my braids were small. She refused

10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! She’s was VERY GENTLE & LIGHTENING FAST! Started about 1:30 out of the door before 6:00!!! Not heavy handed at all, it’s been almost 2 weeks and I’m still in awe “compliments are over flowing lol” I will be a returning client!

Yk was amazing. Not only was she extremely prompt in securing me an appointment the same week I called. But she started my hair on time and had me completed and walking out the door all under 4 hours. My braids were very neat and the quality of her work is great. She gets bonus points for not braiding overly tight. I can't wait to see her again for my next style.
