Yowa hair braiding

Hands down the best braiding experience you can get around here. Maybe there are nicer shops in the way of being more physically aesthetically appealing, but for service & time efficiency, I will always go with Yowa. I can’t explain to you the amount of times I walked into a braiding shop or called a shop to inquire about services and was responded to with the a nasty attitude. The ladies at Yowa always have a smile on their face, are pleased to service you and give suggestions about styles and after care, & have an overall calm atmosphere. I was really excited to find a local braider in Gainesville, GA, since I didn’t think there were any in the area. I booked her for shoulder-length mini twists and sent a reference video the same one I previously sent to my out of town braider, ( it’s about 1hr ) away who quoted me $200. We emailed back and forth to confirm the appointment, and while the price was mentioned in the last email, I overlooked it. Mind you her website had all the prices and for my hair style it says $150 and up that was her excuse to charge me that much how do you expect and this days to pay $600 for twists i don’t think she thinks she loses her business in a long run. Superb experience!! I am very tender headed and Claudia was very gentle, quick, and efficient in braiding my hair. I was in at around 9:15am and out at 12:45pm or less. Claudia is super professional and I wish her business much success. I will be returning in about 6 weeks or less. I’m going to tell everyone what a braiding gem they have in Gainesville. Lease support this beautiful sole of a woman. Pics added to show how detailed and precise she was in making them all the same size. 🤩

This has been by far the best hair braider I have went to in a very long time when you can walk in without an appointment and leave the shop within 4 to 5 hours of being there that's my kind of braider!! Everyone was extremely nice and the owner is hands down very professional and she did an amazing job on my individuals at a reasonable price I am definitely making this my hairdresser from here moving forward!!

I which I could leave a 0 star!!! Doing let the pics trick you! I daughter needed braids for school, dropped her off and messed it up had two braiders that braided and parted differently! Then didn’t want to curl it the way she wanted it done! I’m pissed
