Yvon Nails

I am a veteran at going to nail salons. I will never get my nails done here again! I was new to be area and wanted a simple gel manicure; peeled completely off in less than a week. Said I’d only go back to get my eyebrows waxed after that and then, they did a horrible job with that I’m pretty sure the waxing room table is the napping spot. When she got done with my brows I looked in the mirror and asked for the tweezers because there were so many stray hairs left and all I wanted was a clean up nothing special. Wax quality is awful and the technique is nothing close to what it should be. Wax is supposed to pull the hair out from the root not break at the skin level, which it did. I gave them 2 tries for waxing only and was disappointed each time. Please don’t waste your time and money.

New to the area. Decided to try this place last week. Huge mistake. Not only did she rush my service, but after the acrylic was applied the tech filed it all almost off. On top of that, the gel polish came off after 3 days. I gave it 1 star because the only thing I Enjoyed was the puppy that greets you at the door.

Decided to try this place today because it is close to home but my experience was horrible not because of the work but because she was speaking in another language ( wouldn’t have mattered if it was in English) and very loudly on the phone the entire time she was doing my nails. I spent over $100 getting my nails done and a pedicure to be disrespected by having someone speak so rudely and loudly in my face when it should have a relaxing experience! This was a terrible display of disregard and disrespect for a paying customer. I will never return to this establishment. This was supposed to be a relaxing time for me to have my nails done and it was anything but relaxing experience because this woman could not end her telephone conversation. Don’t go here!

Been going to Yvon nails with my mom and daughter for over a year. We are never disappointed. Family owned and operated. Kelly, Jimmy and Anthony are all equally great and friendly. Their little dog Jackie is adorable and loves the customers. Definitely worth a try.

I've been here twice and both times I had my nails ruined. I went in the 2nd time, after growing my nails out and trimming back to the new growth. All I wanted, all I asked for was a manicure with gel polish. The woman Jenny, who shared her tragic life story with me, used a drill on my natural nail, she told me it wouldn't damage my nails, she lied. It took her over an hour to destroy my nails, they're so thin now they hurt when hot water touches them!!! I will NEVER go back, I hate being lied too. Here's to another 8 weeks or more growing out my nails yet again!! The owner isn't any better, she waxed my eyebrows, above the eyebrow and not under. She went over the same place twice with hot wax which is a no no and damaged my skin. I have scabs above my eyebrows now.
