Zeina African Hair Braiding

The BEST braids I’ve ever had! I walked in and was greeted with kindness and professionalism from Amina, her mom Zeina who is also the owner as well as the entire staff. I was able to see Amina do some very nice wig installs and styling while Zeina assured every customer hair was done correctly. The prices are affordable, the shop was clean and every customer who walked in was treated the same way as I was. The ladies who did my hair did a GREAT job! I’ve received many compliments! By the way, I found this place on social media and just took a chance because my usual hair braider canceled on me 7 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I love this place and will be returning! Thanks ladies!!

Do not get your hair braided by them unless you want to sit for over 11 hours & if you want braids with different sized parts. I am highly disappointed with my service here, I don’t understand why my hair already looks old after 4 days, especially since the braiders here are extremely heavy handed and gripped my hair too tight. I would expect my braids to last longer.

I'm not sure what was going on with Zeina that day, but she sure did give me a fight. She constantly pushed and my head around throughout the entire service. She blamed my hair length for taking 4 hours for a braided ponytail, in which I've had before. My hair ain't that short for gripping. She kept pausing and stopping and doing whatever, which is what carried the time over. I let her finish, but she won't be getting my business again. The only good thing about the service was the $20 discount that she gave me, because that's what I told her I had. She charged me $120 for the braid style and $20 to shampoo the gel from my hair. The going rate for the style is indeed $140. I've already done my reasearch.

They did did what needed to be done! I had about initially two braiders on my hair and toward the end 4 stylists on my head total for my butt length knotless. I was out of the chair in about 5.5 hours. She kept referring to the look/video I asked for to get them to look as close as possible and recommended the curly boho ends vs getting the braids dipped and it came out so nice. I have received so many compliments, and will definitely be back. Thank you :)

I had such an amazing experience getting my butt-length boho knotless braids! I had 3 stylists working on my head, which made the process super efficient. I was in and out in about 4 hours, which is impressive for this length. My braids are extremely neat, lightweight, and the boho pieces came out perfect. The vibe was comfortable and welcoming, and I left feeling confident and obsessed with my hair. I’ve already gotten so many compliments. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!
