Zuluka African Hair Braiding

I had my hair braided the other day.i asked for large knot less braids. She said 220.09 I said fine. When she was done the braids were big and bulky. They didn't even look knot less because she put so much hair close to the scalp. When they applied hot water, it was only on the tips of the ends. She had a little Chinese cup container. When she uses the towel to apply some more hot water to the top, it smelled like mildew. Nice people but horrible braids and a waste of money. I will never go there again. I feel so ugly with these braids. They don't even lay flat, and I can't even put them in a bun. If I wanted regular box braids, I would've asked for that. As soon as I get paid, I'm taking these out..please, don't waste your money.

I love this hair braiding shop! I’ve been coming here for 4 years and Khadiji is the ish!!! To make it simpler, call them to make an appointment. If you want a specific style ask if you can text the photo to someone in the shop so you can be satisfied with your hair. They are professional and their music is 🔥🔥

Came here a few times to do my hair and this time Fatima did it. It looks great!!! Best goddess braids I’ve gotten. I love them!

Very disappointed in the way I was treated here. I am African and can understand the language but they assumed I wasn’t. They literally gossip about every customers hair and talk about you within themselves. They changed the price on what was initially discussed. Once I confronted them on the negative things that was said about me they tried to over explain themselves. I would NEVER go back here. So unprofessional and unsanitary. They reuse the same towels and combs without properly cleaning them.
