Mane Street Barbershop

I've been to a lot of barbershops, and this was one of the best experiences ever: Clean and stylish salon with a great sound system and really nice barber chairs. Walked in with no appointment, was immediately greeted by Mike the owner, and only had a few minutes wait for a fantastic cut. Never has a barbershop asked me for MY music suggestions, and actually played it-! DEFINITELY a new favorite in the Philipsburg / Washington area, and will return again.

I’ve been on the look for a new barbershop and this one ticks all my boxes. I usually am not particular with a barbershop they just have to give good cuts. But this one is goes beyond that. It was a comfortable, calm, cool vibe inside, the barbers are welcoming, Mike (my barber that day) gave me an amazing cut, and finished it off with some fantastic hair products. You are receiving a super clean cut for a solid price. I would highly recommend this spot in the Washington area. They just got themselves a new regular customer.

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at this barbershop! My toddler normally hates getting haircuts, but Mike was absolutely incredible with him. From the moment we walked in, Mike was so friendly, patient, and gentle. He made my son feel completely at ease. To my surprise, my son sat still the entire time and left with the best haircut he’s ever had! I mentioned we’d get ice cream next door afterward, not realizing the shop was closed. As we were walking back to the car, Mike must have saw us and ran out with an ice cream bar for my son. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, and it made my son’s whole day (and mine too). If you’re looking for a barber who truly cares and is amazing with kids, Mike is your guy. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks Mike!💈🍦

I moved from New York a couple years ago to the NJ area, i've always been very picky with my barbers. I have gone to several barbershops during my time in New Jersey. But no one compares to Mike!!! whom has left me with amazing results and a great fade. Mike is beyond awesome. If your questioning to try this barbershop DO IT !!!! You won't regret it!!!!!!

Very clean and Mike was super personable and friendly. Haircut was good and what I asked for. My only additional comments would be in regards to the other people sitting in the shop, the older gentleman got up to help out by sweeping the hair up as he was cutting my hair which was good to see and then his wife/girlfriend was there and I would have liked to see her help him out by ringing me up while he prepared for the next customer who was waiting. If there wasn’t someone else in the shop and he was by himself it wouldn’t have been even mentioned. It wasn’t a bad thing or a good thing it was just an observation. My only comment that goes to the reason for the reduction in the one star was the cost. $30 plus tip for a clipper cut is just a little high. Being able to walk in on a Sunday mor
